Abstract

The sPHENIX experiment at RHIC aims to precisely characterize the properties of the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP). The Standard Model describes this state as a deconfined soup of quarks and gluons. The Helix-Light-Vortex (HLV) theory offers an alternative interpretation: a geometric phase transition of the discrete, dodecahedral spacetime lattice itself. In this state, the localized resonances that constitute baryons “melt” into a delocalized, liquid-like phase of the fundamental Φ-field. This paper derives three unique, testable predictions from this model for the sPHENIX experiment.
