reinhardtmarta/cognitiveAI: v1.0 – Secure Fragmented Cognitive AI Architecture Simulation
Abstract
A proof-of-concept simulation of a secure, fragmented cognitive AI architecture capable of autonomous knowledge generation without external agency Project Summary This project presents a fragmented, secure, and externally agency-free Cognitive Artificial Intelligence architecture designed for autonomous knowledge generation in controlled environments. The proposal clearly separates cognition, operation, security, and human access, avoiding direct dependence on prompts, external manipulation, or real-world actions. The cognitive core is passive: it processes information, generates hypotheses and knowledge structures, but does not execute commands or interact with humans or devices. The architecture is composed of multiple independent layers: a Cognitive AI Core responsible for knowledge generation, an Operational AI that structures responses, Guard Agents that monitor, filter, or block any inappropriate output, an isolated Internal Memory Cloud for internal learning, and a Creation Cloud, where only filtered and secure outputs can be accessed by humans. The system was validated through notebook simulations, demonstrating information flow, fragmentation, concurrency, and security mechanisms, without the use of external APIs or real AI models. The goal is not to create a superintelligence with its own intentions, but a secure, auditable, and scalable cognitive infrastructure that can serve as a foundation for research, industrial testing, and the development of advanced AI systems with strong risk control.
