Braided Boundary Dynamics: A Symbolic Oscillation Model for the Photon Sphere of Black Holes
Abstract
The luminous boundary region around black holes is frequently depicted as a static “ring,” but both theory and observation suggest a far more dynamic structure. This paper proposes a symbolic “braided oscillation” representation of the photon sphere: a conceptual scaffold that treats the boundary as a temporally structured interface rather than a geometric edge. The model does not alter general relativity, nor does it claim literal braided photon paths. Instead, it introduces a discrete oscillatory code (1–2–2–1) arranged in phased triplets to visualize repeating coherence domains as they evolve in time. A simple mathematical formalism and a boundary-oscillation algorithm are provided, along with suggested observational consequences and research directions. The purpose is not to replace physical theory, but to encourage more intuitive reasoning about coherence, rhythm, and organization at the edge of extreme spacetime.
