Distal End-to-Side Vascular Anastomosis in Infrainguinal Prosthetic Bypass
Abstract
This video-based educational resource demonstrates distal end-to-side vascular anastomosis techniques performed in the setting of infrainguinal prosthetic bypass surgery. The content focuses on different technical approaches using patch and cuff techniques, aimed at optimizing blood flow and anastomotic integrity at the distal anastomosis site. This video series has been developed to support the technical development of surgical residents and to facilitate the acquisition of procedural dexterity, serving as a practical and visual reference for vascular reconstruction procedures.Materials Used:1/4" and 3/8" latex Penrose tubing; 6/0 double-armed Prolene sutures.
