BEEMOLOGY I Microphysics of Irreversible Causal Capacity
Abstract
Microphysics of Irreversible Causal Capacity establishes the local, transport-level foundationsof the BEEM framework. The paper introduces causal capacity κ as a bounded, dimensionless,non-propagating structural quantity governing spacetime’s ability to sustain causal reconfigurationunder stress. We specify a local balance law, a diffusion-type constitutive relation with physicalunits, and a stress-dependent degradation rate grounded in invariant measures of matter and geometry. From these microphysical laws, we derive global irreversibility, exclude non-trivial cycliccosmologies, define horizons as causal failure surfaces, replace classical singularities with asymptoticcausal reorganization, and construct a Lyapunov entropy functional with area scaling. Linearperturbation analysis demonstrates overdamped stability and the absence of additional propagatingdegrees of freedom. A sketch of the general-relativistic limit is provided to clarify how standardgeometry emerges in the high-κ regime, while full derivations, observational benchmarks, and cosmologicalphenomenology are deferred to subsequent work
