Abstract

Title: Shifting from Domain-Based Assessment to KSA Competency Framework in Gender-Responsive Education: An Approach from the ECHO Digital Ecosystem. Description: This extended abstract presents a pivotal shift in early childhood assessment, moving from traditional developmental domains to a robust Knowledge-Skills-Attitudes (KSA) competency framework. Developed within the ECHO Digital Ecosystem, the research addresses the limitations of fragmented indicators in capturing implicit gender biases and “Child Agency” Key highlights of the research include: Empirical Validation: A study of N = 58 children (aged 5-6) showing statistically significant growth in gender-responsive competencies (p < .001), particularly in the Attitude component ECHO Logic Core: Introduction of the digital ecosystem's architecture featuring three objective function layers: Denoising KSA Weighting , and Regional Culture Calibration . Philosophy: Guided by the principle “Reflecting Equity, Resonating Agency,” the model aims to quantify qualitative developmental values and support children in building flexible mental schemas. This document includes the structural model of the ECHO ecosystem and the logic architecture of its data processing workflow. Keywords: KSA Competency; Gender-Responsive Education; 5-6 Year Old Children; ECHO Digital Ecosystem; Assessment Model Shift; Child Agency; Educational Technology.
