Timeless Hexagonal Harmony: A Multi-Scale Geometric Framework for Emergent Time, Agency, and Cognition
Abstract
Timeless Hexagonal Harmony proposes a multi-scale geometric framework in which hexagonal symmetry acts as a generative bridge between physics, biology, and cognition. Drawing from quantum gravity, developmental biology, bioelectric computation, and collective intelligence theory, this work explores how time, agency, and goal-directed behavior may emerge from deeper timeless substrates. The paper connects hexagonal organization across scales—from graphene lattices and cellular packing to morphological computation and cognitive light cones—and integrates these observations with relational time models such as the Wheeler–DeWitt equation and Page–Wootters mechanism. Building on Michael Levin’s frameworks of bioelectric cognition and persuadability, the work introduces a unified model illustrating how geometric invariance supports the expansion of spatio-temporal agency in biological and artificial systems. This v1.0 release represents a live generative snapshot of the developing theory, including early figures, conceptual mappings, and open questions. Future versions will refine the structure, expand empirical predictions, and integrate community feedback.
