Abstract

The fifty-year impasse in the direct detection of dark matter (DM) particles is interpreted not as a technical problem, but as an indication of a fundamental ontological error in the standard cosmological model ΛCDM. We develop the approach outlined in the manifesto (1), according to which DM is not a substance, but a status of causal disconnection between objects within the maximal extension of spacetime (Absolute Being, AB). By introducing an objective binary criterion of causal connectivity based on the light cone structure of General Relativity (GR), we rigorously define this status. It is shown that: (1) this criterion naturally explains the principled non-observability of DM by direct methods; (2) gravitational effects attributed to DM arise as a consequence of motion within the unified geometry of AB, which is shaped by all its parts, including causally disconnected ones; (3) dark energy and dark matter are two manifestations of a single dynamics of AB geometry. The article concludes by formulating a concrete research program for theoretical cosmology aimed at finding global solutions to Einstein’s equations that reproduce DM and DE phenomena without postulating exotic forms of matter.
