This document presents the Asset Surrender Rate (ASR), a revealed-preference measurement instrument for observing trust behavior under institutional constraint. It is released as a methodological preprint to establish priority, invite scholarly scrutiny, and support empirical extension across sectors and contexts. This work has not yet undergone peer review and may be revised prior to journal submission.
