Granthi: Higher-Order Quantum Compiler (Research Prototype Snapshot)
Abstract
This archive contains a research prototype of Granthi, a higher-order quantum compiler developed to demonstrate the feasibility of the architecture described in the accompanying NSF proposal. The prototype implements the core language design (Lang0), higher-order compilation pipeline, and extraction to flat, executable unitary circuits. In particular, it supports higher-order quantum programs and canonical normalization of control structure prior to execution. This snapshot is provided for evaluation purposes only. It is not a public release, is not feature-complete, and is not licensed for reuse or redistribution. Ongoing and proposed work includes formal completeness proofs, principled language extensions, documentation refinement, and evaluation. Upon award, the codebase will be transitioned to a public open-source release under the MIT License, as described in the Data Management Plan.
