Abstract

This work documents the design, development, and institutional deployment of a secure and governance-driven Result Management and Publication System intended for use within higher-education institutions. The system addresses critical challenges associated with academic result processing, including data integrity, access control, accountability, auditability, and controlled disclosure of student academic records. The platform enforces role-based access control, OTP-based student authentication, deterministic GPA and ranking computation, and immutable audit logging to ensure that examination results are processed, verified, approved, and published strictly under institutional authority. All security-sensitive actions are traceable and attributable, enabling transparent governance and post-event auditability. The system is designed in alignment with applicable Indian legal and regulatory frameworks, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, University Grants Commission public disclosure guidelines, All India Council for Technical Education norms, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. By embedding governance and compliance controls directly into system architecture, the solution represents a production-ready, audit-compliant approach to academic result management. This upload serves as a formal technical and institutional record of the system’s architecture, governance model, security design, and deployment considerations, and is intended for academic reference, institutional evaluation, and compliance documentation.
