Large Deviations for the Kardar-Parisi-Zhang Equation in Weakly Asymmetric Environments
Abstract
We establish a Freidlin-Wentzell type Large Deviation Principle for the KPZ equation under weak asymmetry scaling using the theory of Regularity Structures and Malliavin calculus, deriving the rate function via variational representations of the stochastic heat equation.
