Boundedness of Fano Varieties and the Termination of Flips in the Minimal Model Program
Abstract
We establish a categorical equivalence between the boundedness of epsilon-lc Fano varieties and the asymptotic termination of directed flip sequences in the transfinite Minimal Model Program via Shokurov's ACC conjectures.
