Abstract

This repository contains the code base used to investigate how climate change may affect species richness, phylogenetic diversity, and phylogenetic structure of endemic woody plant assemblages in the Brazilian Caatinga. The scripts include procedures to: Select and filter georeferenced species occurrence records for modelling; Perform Ecological Niche Modelling (ENM) using both traditional approaches and the Ensemble of Small Models (ESM) framework; Assess species richness, phylogenetic diversity, and phylogenetic structure of endemic plant assemblages; Conduct statistical analyses. This publication of the scripts is intended as supplementary material to the scientific article. A full understanding of the procedures implemented in these scripts requires reading the article.
