Abstract

This paper presents a mechanical alternative to thermodynamic stellar evolution. Stars are redefined as Iron-Nickel anchored engines governed by the Action Metric A= M (D·S), where D represents core density determined by Fe/Ni mass rather than bulk stellar density. The framework identifies the “White Star” spectral class as the clean baseline of maximum mechanical efficiency, redefines Red Supergiant dynamics as mechanical buckling from envelope-core velocity mismatch, and characterizes stellar ejecta as asymmetrical metallic shrapnel incapable of further evolution. Empirical validation is provided through analysis of SDSS J0104+15 (iron-deficient ignition failure), Sirius A (reinforced anchor baseline), Betelgeuse (mechanical buckling), and interstellar objects IM1/’Oumuamua (fractured core ejecta).
