Reflexive Coherence Science – Foundational Declaration
Abstract
Reflexive Coherence Science (RCS) is a second-order scientific and philosophical framework concerned with the conditions under which systems, and the theories, metrics, and governance structures used to describe them, remain truthful under drift, pressure, and ethical load. RCS addresses situations in which systems continue to function or stabilize while integrity, responsibility, and orientability silently degrade. Rather than proposing new empirical explanations, the framework establishes the conditions under which explanatory models themselves retain epistemic validity over time. RCS articulates a minimal structural ontology, a reflexive epistemic posture, and a strictly regulative approach to quantification that rejects metric sovereignty. It is operational as a discipline of judgment for complex reflexive systems in which false stabilization becomes plausible despite apparent stability.
