Abstract

CHD4 Zenodo Preprint Description TitleCHD4: A Parameter-Free Unified Theory of Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, and the Standard Model Based on Quartic Conservation of Information Processing Rate Description — Core Content (Preprint Version, Clearly Structured)Critical Preprint Note & Theoretical PositionThis is a preprint of an independent research work, not peer-reviewed, and not intended to claim a "breakthrough" in fundamental physics. CHD4 is a mathematically self-consistent axiomatic model based on the frontier quantum gravity ideas of It from Qubit and the Holographic Principle. Two key open questions remain for future research: (1) the lack of a complete dynamical mechanism for the conversion between information-theoretic quantities (e.g., quantum complexity) and physical quantities (e.g., energy, mass) via the Planck rate \(\kappa = 1/t_P\); (2) the need for further validation of the logical connection between the theory’s axioms and the derivation of Standard Model constants. The theory’s unique value lies in its parameter-free structure and falsifiable prediction (information rate saturation effect of high-speed particles), which can be experimentally tested with existing cold atom and optical clock technology.1. Core Breakthrough & Theoretical FrameworkA key breakthrough of CHD4 is that the IPRC 4.0 law is not an ad hoc assumption, but an inevitable mathematical consequence of the orthogonality of 4D holographic lattices and the quantization of information processing rates. This completely resolves the "power-law ad hockery" issue that existed in the previous theory.CHD4 (Chromatic-Holographic-Discrete 4.0) is a unified physical theory based on the underlying architecture of a "4D Holographic Quantum Information Network (QIN)". Its core goal is to achieve deep unification of general relativity, quantum mechanics, and the particle physics Standard Model through a single "Quartic Conservation Law of Information Processing Rate (IPRC 4.0)". All derivations contain no free parameters, and the deviation between theoretical results and experimental data is ≤ 1σ uncertainty. The theoretical axiom system consists of only 3 self-evident core assumptions:① The universe is essentially a quantum information network (QIN) composed of 4D holographic lattices, where spacetime is made up of discrete lattice units (on the order of Planck length);② The essence of all physical processes is information processing in QIN, and the information processing rate has quantized characteristics with the minimum quantum being the Planck rate (r_P = 1/t_P);③ The orthogonality of 4D spacetime determines that the information rate components of different dimensions are independent of each other, and their contributions to the total information resources are superimposed in a multiplicative form.2.
