Geolocation Mapping and Spatial Data Analysis in R: A Multi-scalar Approach
Abstract
Professional R script for automated multi-scalar geolocation mapping (South America, Brazil, State, and Municipality levels). The software integrates geospatial data from IBGE (2020) and Natural Earth, utilizing the SIRGAS 2000 coordinate system. It was developed to support spatial analysis in water resources and geosciences research at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). Includes the full processing environment (.RData) for reproducibility.
