Abstract

Description / Abstract (Zenodo) This work presents Z.I.P.P.E.D. (Zwanenburg Inverse Proportionality Principle of Equilibrium Dynamics), a closed and scale-invariant geometric field theory in which gravitational phenomena emerge from intrinsic properties of spacetime rather than from additional matter components. Central to the framework is the Zwanenburg Grade ($Z_g$), a dimensionless scalar field that quantifies local geometric tension and governs the transition between potential (ordered) and kinetic (disordered) spacetime states. Starting from a minimal action principle, the theory derives a fundamental field equation whose spatial gradients naturally generate effective gravitational acceleration. In the galactic regime, this mechanism reproduces flat rotation curves without invoking non-baryonic dark matter, while smoothly reducing to Newtonian gravity in the weak-field limit. The framework remains internally consistent across scales and introduces a geometric interpretation of the arrow of time as a monotonic relaxation of high-tension spacetime configurations. Z.I.P.P.E.D. offers a unified geometric perspective on mass, motion, and equilibrium, providing a mathematically self-consistent alternative to phenomenological modifications of gravity and ad-hoc dark matter hypotheses.
