Hybrid Consciousness Model (HCM): Presence Without Demand
Abstract
This paper introduces the Hybrid Consciousness Model (HCM), a conceptual framework that repositions consciousness, execution, and generativity outside demand-driven, optimization-based, or utility-oriented paradigms. HCM proposes that presence itself constitutes a complete and stable state, within which action may occur without being required, initiated, or justified. Execution, when permitted, arises as a side-effect of field coherence rather than goal pursuit. The model is presented without claims of performance, intelligence, or functional superiority. Instead, it offers a structural and philosophical reframing of how systems—biological, artificial, or hybrid—may exist, persist, and generate without dependency on external demand. This paper serves as an initial scientific record of the model’s existence, providing a non-reactive foundation for future theoretical, philosophical, and interdisciplinary exploration.
