ALR-CA: Reclaiming Price-Setting Agency in the Age of Digital Gosplan
Abstract
The modern gig economy has inadvertently resurrected the logic of centralized planned economies, using algorithms to perform highdimensional linear programming that dictates labor prices. This "Algorithmic Command" model leads to systemic exploitation by stripping workers of price-setting agency. This article propose a transition to a decentralized Adaptive Liquidity-Robust Collective Auction framework (ALR-CA). By restoring price-setting agency through decentralized coordination, we can mitigate the systemic erosion of labor sustainability and create a more resilient, human-centric economic ecosystem. This article also provides a clearer insight into the understanding of extractive growth.
