Predictive Bioharmonics: Post-Transfer Adaptation and Recovery Algorithm (PTARA)
Abstract
Failed embryo transfer in IVF is typically treated as an endpoint rather than as diagnostic information, leaving no formal logic for deciding whether to reuse an embryo, adjust timing, wait, or terminate further attempts. This document introduces the Post-Transfer Adaptation & Recovery Algorithm (PTARA), a deterministic post-failure decision algorithm that computes the correct next action following a failed transfer. PTARA does not predict pregnancy, assign probabilities, rank embryos, or optimize stimulation. Instead, it classifies transfer failure by integrating embryo stability (from Predictive Bioharmonics and PB–EPG), timing compatibility (from PEETA or equivalent), and post-failure system reversibility, treating failed implantation as a diagnostic signal rather than a biological outcome. The algorithm deterministically outputs one of four actions—reuse now, reuse later, switch embryo, or stop—and operates as a non-invasive post-transfer decision-support layer that replaces trial-and-error with formal post-event logic.
