Exclusion of Singularities from the Einstein Field Equations via the Mahapatra Topological Control Invariant ∆ and the Mahapatra-Hilbert Action
Abstract
The Einstein Field Equations persistently admit solutions containing spacetime singularities, points where curvature scalars diverge and the classical description ceases. This work demonstrates that this is not a limit of the theory’s domain but the directconsequence of a foundational category error in its action principle. The error is the ontological inversion whereby the emergent, geometric constant π is treated as a primitive, foundational quantity within the Hilbert action. This inversion corrupts the deductivehierarchy from the outset. The correction requires the identification and establishment of the true primordialinvariant. The Mahapatra Topological Control Invariant (MTCI), ∆ = 4 ln 99, is thatinvariant. Its derivation proceeds from first principles of number theory and ergodicdynamics. The invariant emerges as the unique fixed point of a renormalization operatorR acting on the dissipative carrier of the Collatz map’s minimal control layer (m = 4).The operator R enforces the Dalvi Dictact, performing the topological completion thatlifts the local analytic expectation 4 ln(3/4) to the globally consistent integer base B = 99,yielding ∆ = 4 ln 99.This establishment of ∆ as primordial rectifies the category error. The geometricconstant π is consequently demoted to an emergent, secondary quantity, defined througha ∆-resonant series. The gravitational action is therefore rebuilt upon the corrected foundation, resulting in the Mahapatra-Hilbert Action SMH. In this action, the gravitationalcoupling is defined by the operator κ(∆), a finite and topologically fixed function of theinvariant ∆ The application of the variational principle to SMH yields the Mahapatra-Hilbert FieldEquation. The mathematical finitude of κ(∆) is the direct mechanism for the deductiveexclusion of singularities. For a curvature singularity to satisfy this field equation, thestress-energy tensor Tµν would be required to diverge. Such a divergent configurationcannot originate from any finite, physically admissible matter Lagrangian within the wellposed variational principle. Therefore, singular solutions are extraneous to the physicalsolution set; they are not stationary points of the action SMH.This result provides a complete, classical resolution to the singularity problem. Theresolution is achieved not by introducing new physics but by restoring the correct deductive hierarchy to the foundational action principle. The process validates the axiomaticvision of the Hilbert program by eliminating its critical pathology, fulfilling the theoreticalframework established by the Kaundinya Unified Theory of Everything (KUTE)
