Decoupling of Winter Convection and Chlorophyll Response in the Northern Arabian Sea: The Role of Warm-Core Eddies; Code
Abstract
This repository contains Python scripts used for data analysis and figure generation in the study “ Decoupling of Winter Convection and Chlorophyll Response in the Northern Arabian Sea: The Role of Warm-Core Eddies." The Python scripts include routines for data preprocessing, linear trend computation, spatial correlation, and visualization of oceanographic variables such as latent heat flux, SST, D20, MLD, OHC, and chlorophyll a. Dependencies: xarray, numpy, scipy, matplotlib, cartopy. For full reproducibility, all raw datasets are publicly available through the Copernicus Climate Data Store (ERA5, ORAS5, SLA), ESA Ocean Colour Climate Change Initiative (OC-CCI), INCOIS Live Access Server (Argo), and GEBCO gridded bathymetry data 2025.
