Solid Waste Generation and Composition [Household and Tourist Destination]

This diagram compares the average percentage composition of solid waste (by type) between golbal houshold and tourism destination and Indian houshold and tourism destination. It reflects the consumption patterns in developed and developing tourism economies by comparing the percentage compositon of solid waste of housholds and tourism destinations (by type).It shows that tourism destinations in developing economies have more share of biodegrable waste than the tourism destination in developed economies, which is dominated by the higher share non-biodegradable solid waste.
