Abstract

"PMS-EDEN 2.0" is a major architecture update. It replaces the earlier Eden-/comparison-first drift corridor with a stricter PMS-conform account of Adult Reciprocity, real asymmetry, and reciprocity loss through false-coordinated real Ω. The central architectural shift is simple: Adult Reciprocity ≠ symmetry. Adult Reciprocity = truthful coordination of real Ω. Reciprocity Loss = false coordination of real Ω. Main changes New core architecture PMS-EDEN no longer begins from Eden, Fall, comparison, pseudo-symmetry, or PFO. The model now begins from Adult Reciprocity as the positive benchmark and traces loss through the following sequence: coordinated Ω → false-coordinated real Ω → displaced R → blocked Σ/Ψ → reciprocity loss This makes real asymmetry the central condition, while preserving the key guardrail: Asymmetry is not the failure. False coordination of asymmetry is the failure. Repositioned major constructs Several earlier centerpieces have been demoted or relocated: Eden is now a late test scene, not the paper's origin. False Comparison is an attractor, amplifier, and stabilizer, not first cause. Pseudo-Symmetry is one Switch Family form, not the master mechanism. PFO is downstream regime stabilization, not the origin of reciprocity loss. This removes the old Eden → comparison → pseudo-symmetry → PFO master chain. Expanded responsibility and praxis architecture The update strengthens the distinction between visible action and scene-structuring praxis: No Passive Praxis ≠ every non-action is action. Non-action becomes praxis only when it structures a scene under □/Λ/Ω/Θ. Responsibility is now governed by a clearer scene-bound rule: R follows real structuring effect under available legibility, capacity, alternative possibility, Θ trajectory, and Ω cost/exposure conditions. Responsibility remains explicitly non-diagnostic: it is not guilt, blame, moral worth, person condemnation, motive inference, or outcome liability alone. New EDEN-MAP architecture EDEN-MAP has been rebuilt as an 11-field scene-mapping protocol. It maps: scene packet, real Ω, false coordination frame, responsibility and action-power, Σ/Ψ status, cost distribution, non-action and non-binding, immunization / overexposure / AEP, counter-scene and falsifier, description/application status, revision point or open question. EDEN-MAP remains descriptive only. It does not diagnose persons, rank sexes, authorize coercive action, or replace counter-scene testing. Stronger boundary and falsifier discipline The model now gives greater weight to counter-scenes, rival explanations, and genuine non-capture. An EDEN reading must be able to fail. If no counter-scene could change the reading, the reading is methodologically unsafe. The boundary chapter now explicitly protects genuine vulnerability, genuine protection, legitimate hierarchy, functional comparison, neutral non-action, legitimate non-binding, and rival frameworks from being absorbed into EDEN by default. Updated example suite The repository now includes a five-part example suite using the updated case schema: Pseudo-Symmetry under Real Cost Asymmetry Mediation Termination vs. Mediation Teaches Nothing vs. the Learning or Transgression Myth Legibility Management Without Psychology Who Goes First as Trajectory Origin, Not Moral Rank The examples are structural stress tests. They are not diagnoses, advice, relationship protocols, or enforcement templates. Updated model specification and README The human-readable model specification and repository README have been rewritten to reflect the new architecture. They remove the old drift corridor and align the repository language with the current PMS-EDEN grammar. Compatibility and status PMS-EDEN remains a PMS-conform overlay. It does not introduce new PMS operators, redefine existing operators, alter the PMS dependency path, or convert derived axes into new primitives. The application gate remains active: Χ + reversibility + D Description may name structure. Application requires scene packet, counter-scene exposure, contextual responsibility, evidentiary answerability, affected-role contestation, and independent application authority. Upgrade note This release is not a small terminology update. It is an architectural reset. Existing references that treat Eden, False Comparison, Pseudo-Symmetry, or PFO as origin mechanisms should be considered outdated and revised against the 2.0 structure.
