kris2475/Barometric-Anchoring-for-Occupancy-Detection: Phase I: Validated Office Data
Abstract
Phase I: Validation of Barometric Anchoring & Jacobian State-Vector Analysis This release establishes the foundational dataset and methodology for detecting human occupancy in unconditioned, low-temperature environments (baseline 0.6°C). Key Technical Contributions: Barometric Anchoring: Integration of local sensor pressure with regional METAR data (EGFF) to eliminate atmospheric noise. Jacobian $J_{11}$ Flux: Mathematical derivation of the ratio between Dew Point change and Temperature change ($dT_d / dT$) to isolate metabolic respiration. Geodetic Calibration: Normalization for the Ammanford Lab elevation (74m ASL). Contents: Raw sensor telemetry (CSV) from the Sentinel V1 (BME688/ESP32). Validated Jacobian signal plots proving instant detection at 07:29 on 05/01/2026. Phase I Pre-print documenting the mathematical precision floor and SMA filtering logic. Primary Investigator: Kris Seunarine Location: Ammanford, Wales
