Abstract

Poised at the Core is an interdisciplinary, reflective work exploring the concept of inner grounding as a foundational axis for feminine presence, stability, and lived poise in contemporary life. Positioned at the intersection of women’s studies, embodied psychology, contemplative inquiry, and lived philosophy, this work does not adopt a conventional self-help or instructional framework. Instead, it functions as a pillar text—a form of writing intended to support long-term alignment rather than short-term behavioral change. The book introduces the concept of Poised Grounding, understood as a lived state in which body, breath, mind, emotion, and daily life remain coherently aligned around a stable inner axis. In this state, poise is not performed, cultivated, or displayed, but naturally emerges from alignment rather than effort. Methodologically, this work is grounded in qualitative, phenomenological observation of lived experience. Knowledge is developed through long-term reflective inquiry, embodied awareness, and narrative-based analysis of everyday life, rather than through experimental or clinical methods. The approach aligns with traditions in embodied psychology, mind–body studies, contemplative practice, and feminine-centered philosophy of living. Key thematic areas explored include: Inner grounding and embodied presence Alignment versus endurance as a model of strength Emotional, relational, and financial grounding Grounded speech, silence, and self-regulation Intergenerational transmission of stability and calm This work is intended for scholars, educators, practitioners, and readers interested in women’s holistic health, embodied awareness, and reflective practice. It may serve as a supplementary academic reference, a reflective resource in practice-based research, or a foundational text for long-term personal and professional integration. This publication does not provide medical, psychological, or clinical treatment guidance. The content reflects the author’s lived research and reflective synthesis and is offered for educational, scholarly, and personal development purposes only.
