Abstract

Air pollution remains one of the most critical environmental issues worldwide, posing serious risks to human health and ecosystem sustainability. This study examines modern air quality monitoring systems and evaluates their effectiveness in assessing atmospheric pollution. Instrumental, laboratory-based, and remote sensing methods were applied to measure major air pollutants, including particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10) and gaseous compounds. The results demonstrate that integrated monitoring approaches ensure reliable, accurate, and real-time data, which are essential for environmental management and policy-making.
