Schrödinger's Fallacy Part IV: The Ubiquitous Pattern of Geometric Determinism – dm/dt = 0 if ⟨m, n⟩ = 0
Abstract
This extension of the Schrödinger’s Fallacy series examines the recur-ring pattern dm/dt = 0 if ⟨m, n⟩ = 0—where m is the local magnetizationvector and n is the geometric dressing normal—as an emergent featurein macroscopic quantum coherence. Building on exact diagonalizationand density matrix renormalization group (DMRG) data from strongly-coupled spin-1/2 chains embedded in Viviani curve normals, we highlighthow orthogonality between magnetization and the geometric constraintconsistently appears to halt temporal evolution in the many-body groundstate. This pattern manifests with machine-precision topological protec-tion for commensurate N ≡ 0 mod 4, showing up across scales in quan-tum systems with geometric dressing. We observe this as a repeating motifin nature’s preference for equilibrium without explicit energy cost, withpotential implications for fault-tolerant quantum memory and topologicalcomputing. Numerical evidence up to N = 50 underscores the pattern’spersistence, with polarization approaching zero to 10−24 and variance atthe floating-point noise floor.
