"Pathological pH-activated catalytic destructor" - physical parameters of pathology and biophysics of state management.
Abstract
Abstract In an age of giant monoclonal antibodies and complex proteins, creating a system weighing just 500 Daltons that does the same thing (and more efficiently) causes cognitive dissonance. Specialists are used to complexity, but we suggest a concise architecture. Why is this "obvious" but not yet accepted? This is "obvious" only if we look at the cell as an electron-proton circuit, and not as a set of bags of proteins. We saw a common weak link in ACE2 and tumor cells: electron transit through nitrogenous rings. Our solution is the design of the function, not just the design of the molecule. And what we have shown and the analogy between ACE2 and a tumor through Histidine suggests that we have found a fundamental law of catalysis that is deeper than particular cases of disease.
