Abstract

This study investigates the awareness, acceptance, understanding, and perception of the Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives (VMGO) among 337 teacher education students at NEUST–Gabaldon Campus. Using a quantitative descriptive survey design and an adapted survey instrument, the study explores how BEED and BSED students engage with their institution's core principles. Data were analyzed using weighted means and percentages, with convenience sampling employed based on voluntary participation from students. Findings reveal strong awareness and understanding of institutional VMGO but lower awareness of program-specific objectives. Acceptance and clarity perception are high, with minor differences between programs. The study recommends integrating VMGO into academic activities, organizing thematic events, and establishing feedback mechanisms to enhance implementation. While the findings offer valuable insights, they are context-specific to the NEUST–Gabaldon Campus and limited to the BEED and BSED programs, which may affect their generalizability to other institutions or disciplines.
