Abstract

MORS fetches the Spada et al. (2013) evolution tracks through fwl-io, like the Baraffe tracks (#62). The grid is pinned in the MORS manifest as one archive with a fixed Zenodo record and checksum, and unpacks into star/tracks/spada_2013/r15729101/fs255_grid below FWL_DATA. The unpacked tracks are identical to the previous stellar_evolution_tracks/Spada/fs255_grid tree, and StarEvo returns the same values from both. A tree under the old location is not moved, so the grid downloads once more after upgrading. The compiled Spada grid is now cached in the user cache directory, keyed on the track directory and a fingerprint of its files, so a changed tree never serves a grid compiled from old data. Parallel jobs on a cold cache no longer corrupt it, a corrupt cache file is recompiled instead of stopping StarEvo, and Value() reuses the loaded default grid. The Zenodo and OSF download code is removed, and with it the osfclient and zenodo_get dependencies. This release still requires fwl-io>=26.7.22. Other changes: The documentation uses the shared PROTEUS theme, with the fonts served from the repository. The nightly caches the track data under a key derived from the pinned datasets, so it follows a re-pinned dataset instead of refetching every night. The code style check passes on the new theme assets, and a test fails when a pre-commit exclusion stops matching a file (#57, #58). The nightly check of the Baraffe registry against Zenodo retries three times and stands down when Zenodo is unavailable, and the nightly summary names any expected check that produced no result (#61).
