Abstract

Foundational-Physical Statement for Publication The Standard Reference on Axiom X: Foundational-Physical Resolution of P≠NP This monograph, which serves as the definitive "Standard Reference" and physical exposition of the Axiom X framework, establishes a groundbreaking "Foundational-Physical Paradigm" that transcends the purely logical independence results of the preceding volume. While the previous work demonstrated the formal independence of the P ≠ NP problem from ZFC, this volume operationalizes that result by introducing Axiom X not merely as a set-theoretic constraint, but as a rigorous "Model-Theoretic Filter". This filter decisively selects the physically relevant model of ZFC (Gödel's Constructible Universe L, where P ≠ NP) and rejects hypercomputational generic extensions (M_G) by proving they violate fundamental thermodynamic laws. Thus, this work transforms the P ≠ NP statement from a question of mathematical consistency into an objective physical law governed by thermodynamic constraints. At the heart of this physical resolution lies the derivation of the "Sahbani-Landauer Limit" (E_min ≥ K(A) × S), which establishes a precise linear relationship between the Kolmogorov complexity of a computational set and the minimum energy required to process it. This relationship is anchored by the "Sahbani Constant" (S = k_B T ln 2), which serves as the fundamental conversion factor between abstract information and physical energy. By bridging the "Existential Gap" between abstract mathematics and physical reality, the monograph demonstrates that the computational collapse of NP into P is physically impossible because it would require energy resources exceeding the total available energy in the universe (E_phys) for instances of sufficient complexity. On the engineering and practical side, this reference details the specifications for "Axiom-Compatible Computing," introducing the Axiom X Encryption Protocol (AXEP). Unlike classical cryptographic systems that rely on unproven complexity assumptions, AXEP provides security guaranteed by "Thermodynamic Impossibility," utilizing an Entropy Barrier that renders brute-force attacks physically unfeasible regardless of algorithmic advances. Furthermore, the text applies these foundational limits to predict the "Thermodynamic Limits of Artificial Intelligence," establishing an "AI Information Ceiling" that bounds the maximum complexity of trained models by the energy consumed during their training, and forecasting the ultimate efficiency limits of silicon-based processors. From the perspective of quantum mechanics and biological systems, the monograph extends the Axiom X framework to propose that quantum computation remains subject to the P ≠ NP constraint due to the non-violability of the Sahbani-Landauer Limit, and conjectures applications of the Sahbani Constant in biological information processing (S_bio) and string theory effective field complexities. In this way, this book does not merely complement the independence proof but completes the paradigm shift: moving from the abstract undecidability of ZFC to the concrete, energetic certainty of the physical universe. It synthesizes set theory, thermodynamics, and algorithmic information theory into a single coherent system (ZFC^X), providing the essential handbook for researchers in physics, computer science, and cryptography to understand the ultimate limits of computation and the physical necessity of P ≠ NP. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17881772
