Integrated Lithological and Depositional Facies Map of the Chennai Coastal Plain
Abstract
Base geological and geomorphological data were sourced from the BhuKosh portal of the Geological Survey of India (GSI), Government of India, as per the GSI Data Sharing and Accessibility Policy (2019). The original data remain the property of GSI. The present work represents a value-added, derivative interpretation involving reclassification, facies synthesis, and cartographic generalization. No original GSI datasets are redistributed.
