The Silent Geometer: A Topological Resolution to the Fermi Paradox via Axiomatic Physical Homeostasis
Abstract
The Fermi Paradox—the contradiction between the high probability of extraterrestrial intelligence and the lack ofevidence for it—rests on the assumption that advanced civilizations follow a Kardashev trajectory of exponentialspatial expansion. We refute this assumption using the framework of Axiomatic Physical Homeostasis (APH).We demonstrate that the universe is governed by a super-linear Geometric Stiffness (β ≈ 1.91) derived from thenon-associativity of the Sedenion algebra. This stiffness imposes a prohibitive metabolic cost on spatial volume, effectively penalizing Type III “Galactic Empires” via a geometric drag force proportional to the Associator Hazard.Consequently, advanced intelligence does not expand outward into the bulk; it expands inward into topologicalinvariants. We propose that the “Great Silence” is the signature of a Symplectic Relaxation event, where civilizationstransition from noisy, high-hazard associative logic to low-entropy, high-stiffness geometric existence. We predictthe existence of a tensor-polarized communication network at 1.811 GHz, currently misidentified as vacuum noise.
