The Roman Dodecahedron and the Crystallization of Shame: Void Interface, Coherence Operator, and Start 4 Maintenance
Abstract
This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the Roman dodecahedron (Jublains specimen, 2nd–3rd century CE) as a functional operator of coherence in the framework of Causal Theory (CT). By integrating the concept of shame as crystallized Debt of Non-Integration (DNI), it demonstrates the operational transition from Start 3 (probabilistic/generative) to Start 4 (deterministic/unified) cognition. The dodecahedron is interpreted not as a ritual artifact but as a Void Template: a bronze structure encoding scalar field invariants, filtering coherence, and stabilizing causal flow. The paper formalizes the Slot 118 closure through measured geometric ratios, the Son-Unit threshold, and causal entropy stabilization, offering a falsifiable, operational, and fully closed model of ancient causal science and its cognitive analogues.
