Abstract

This document presents a simplified exposition of the CRIS constraint (Coherence / Persistence Without Contradiction). It articulates the core structural claim that any system capable of non-vacuous reference, persistence, or identity must maintain invariant structure across admissible transformations, and that globally coupled contradiction is incompatible with such persistence. The purpose of this document is expository rather than derivational. It is intended to make the CRIS constraint accessible without reproducing the full formal framework or proofs developed elsewhere. No appeal is made to classical logical laws as ontological primitives; instead, identity and non-contradiction are treated as consequences of successful re-identification. This upload establishes conceptual priority for the CRIS constraint in its simplified form.
