Abstract

Wired to Learn is a mini‑book that explains how human brains change across the lifespan and what this means for real classrooms, families, and workplaces. It translates contemporary neuroscience of neuroplasticity, memory, attention, stress, motivation, and adolescent brain development into clear, practical strategies for teaching, parenting, and leading. Across four sections, the book moves from core brain science to everyday practices, then to a reimagined view of adolescence (ages 9–32), and finally to future‑focused, brain‑smart teaching in an AI‑saturated world. Written for educators, parents, leaders, policymakers, and adult learners, it challenges fixed‑ability myths and shows how environments, relationships, and deliberate practice shape the developing brain. The emphasis is on accurate, myth‑free science and usable tools that make learning possible for everyone, at any age, in any setting.
