Abstract

Title in manuscript: Fundamental Constants from a 1+1 Ether–Vortex Closure.Version note (v7): This release updates the closure scheme from the earlier 3+1 parameterization (v1–v6) to a 1+1 (two-base) closure—one macroscopic base parameter and one microscopic base parameter—while keeping the same concept DOI for traceability and priority (each release also has its own version DOI). This preprint presents a “1+1” (two-base) parameter closure within a mechanical ether–vortex framework aimed at deriving a coherent set of fundamental constants from a minimal base description. Here “1+1” denotes one macroscopic base parameter (encoding the bulk elastic/gravitational scale of the medium) and one microscopic base parameter (encoding the wave-speed mechanism and microstructure dependence). The closure is implemented in an anchor-calibrated branch where a small set of anchors (including \alpha^{-1} and selected laboratory constants) are fixed, and the remaining constants are derived through explicit equations stated in the manuscript. The derived set includes \hbar, \varepsilon_{0}, \mu_{0}, Z_{0}, k_{e}, a_{0}, R_{\infty}, \mu_{B}, K_{J}, R_{K}, and Planck units. The resulting CODATA-comparison residuals exhibit a near-uniform ppm-level pattern (≈±5.6 ppm), consistent with a single dominant lever-arm mismatch rather than independent tuning of each constant. The manuscript is written to be reproducible: the main results are summarized in a constants table, with a supplementary package (tables/scripts/README) provided for recomputation and verification. Secondary extensions (kept distinct from the constants-focused derivation) briefly connect the same framework to Lorentz-type kinematics, GR-form packaging, a Bernoulli-route interpretation of electromagnetic forces, and a wave-based sketch of quantum statistics. A single dimensionless bridge factor \kappa absorbs the relevant microphysics in c^{2}=\kappa B/\rho, enabling an explicit 1+1 closure.
