Topological Charge and Spin: Coherence Winding in the Substrate Quantum Field
Abstract
Topological Charge and Spin: Coherence Winding in the Substrate Quantum Field In this chapter, we derive spin and charge not as fundamental inputs, but as emergent, quantized features of coherence topology within the substrate quantum field. Using the framework of Unified Vibrational Field Theory (UVFT), we demonstrate how torsional dropout events in the modal lattice generate stable phase-winding loops — coherence anchors that express themselves as spinor-like structures and topological charge. These phase geometries are not imposed symmetries but dynamically stable resonances: quantized helicities of modal survival. U(1) symmetry, chirality, and charge coupling arise as consequences of substrate anchoring and dropout re-entry conditions. The result is a unified model in which spin and charge become memory patterns of phase flow — not imposed algebraic labels but scars of coherence evolution. This reframing builds a natural bridge to Dirac synthesis, modal transport, and field emergence, laying critical groundwork for the tensor-collapse framework that follows.
