Abstract

The SSCA is a new class of energy‑storage material: a solid‑state capacitor array embedded directly into structural components. Unlike conventional batteries, SSCA modules are: fire‑safe (no liquid electrolyte) long‑life (>100,000 cycles at 90% DOD) modular (panels, tiles, beams, shells) load‑bearing (the structure is the energy system) maintenance‑free (no moving parts, no degradation pathways) SSCA is designed to replace batteries, frames, and energy systems across: care environments mobility platforms EV infrastructure rail, marine, aerospace, and orbital domains habitat‑scale energy systems First Commercial Module: SSCA‑HOSPICE‑FLOOR+ This care‑environment flooring system gently harvests energy from footsteps, wheelchairs, and weight shifts. The energy is routed into the Capacitor Spine, powering: soft night lighting radiant heating emergency reserves bedside micro‑charging SSCA‑HOSPICE‑FLOOR+ is silent, safe, and unobtrusive — designed for dignity, comfort, and long‑term reliability. Licensing & Collaboration This post establishes timestamped public authorship of the SSCA architecture and its first commercial module. Further modules are in development across mobility, infrastructure, and aerospace domains. Researchers, engineers, and care innovators are invited to explore SSCA’s potential. Licensing inquiries and integration proposals are welcome.
