Across all listed observational domains, the relevant signal is not ongoing dynamical activity but the persistence of correlation structures across scale, epoch, and independent datasets. The absence of continuous energetic drivers does not negate statistical legibility; it constrains its interpretation. Retentional physics therefore operates strictly at the level of observable correlation endurance, without asserting causal agency, energy circulation, or entropy suppression. This distinction is essential for maintaining full compatibility with thermodynamic law while preserving empirical relevance.
Abstract
This paper provides a rigorous conceptual and methodological clarification of the relationship between retentional physics and the second law of thermodynamics. It demonstrates that the persistence of structural correlations after dynamical saturation does not imply energy accumulation, entropy reversal, or violation of classical thermodynamic constraints. The work introduces a strict demarcation between dynamical processes governed by energy transfer and entropy production, and post-dynamical regimes characterized by statistically legible correlation endurance. Explicit pass/fail criteria, boundary conditions, and non-invasive observational proxies from cosmology and large-scale structure are articulated. The framework is presented as a complementary descriptive layer rather than a competing physical theory. Emphasis is placed on methodological restraint, falsifiability, and ethical non-violation. The paper is intentionally non-formalized mathematically, serving as a foundational clarification to be extended by dedicated mathematical and observational studies.
