TCPE v1.0: Effective Coherence Field Theory with Structured Environmental Couplings
Abstract
The present work introduces TCPE v1.0, a classical effective field theory that extends the principles of Coherent Physical Encoding (CPE) into a covariant and spatially structured framework. While earlier versions of CPE were formulated in functional or semi-phenomenological terms, the transition to a field-theoretic model is motivated by four key requirements:• Dynamical consistency: ensuring that informational coherence evolves according to local field equations derived from a well-posed action principle, incorporating physically interpretable symmetries and stability properties.• Environmental sensitivity: explicitly modeling how structured physical environments—such as thermal gradients, gravitational potentials, and density distributions—modulate the evolution of the coherence field through linear couplings to classical operators Oᵢ(x,t).• Falsifiability and predictive structure: embedding the theory within cosmological backgrounds (e.g., FRW spacetimes), enabling numerical simulations and analytical diagnostics of key observables such as w(z), H(z), Ω_φ(z), and spectral responses P(k). This structure allows direct confrontation with cosmological data including the cosmic microwave background (CMB), large-scale structure (LSS), and late-time acceleration.• Foundations for quantization: establishing the minimal classical core required for a controlled quantum extension (TCPE–QFT), which will incorporate renormalization, decoherence mechanisms, loop corrections, and dynamical backreaction of environmental fields.By promoting informational coherence to a spacetime-dependent scalar field φ̂(x,t), TCPE enables coherent propagation, dynamical modulation, and structured response under physical conditions. In this version 1.0, the theory remains minimal yet sufficiently rich to capture nonlinear, spatially modulated behavior, offering a falsifiable and physically motivated alternative to ΛCDM and quintessence scenarios. This foundational formulation prepares the stage for future quantized extensions and observational applications.
