Viscous Shear Cosmology (VSC): A Python Benchmark for the Hubble Tension
Abstract
π Release v1.1.2 β The Universal Shear Law Proof This release marks the first stable version of the Viscous Shear Cosmology (VSC) simulation library. It provides a comprehensive mathematical and empirical audit demonstrating that a non-Newtonian, viscous vacuum can replace the need for Dark Matter and MOND across all astronomical scales. ποΈ Key Scientific Milestones Derivation of the Universal Law: Establishes the optimized constants n ~ 0.467 and Scrit = 100.0 km/s/kpc, providing a unified fit for the SPARC galaxy database. Solar System Preservation: Successful validation against the Saturn/Cassini constraint, proving that the VSC model naturally preserves Newtonian dynamics in high-shear environments. Hubble Tension Resolution: Introduction of the vacuum viscosity term into the expansion equation, offering a data-backed solution to the H0 discrepancy. Tully-Fisher Emergence: Proof that the Baryonic Tully-Fisher Relation (Mass proportional to Velocity^4) is a natural consequence of the universal shear law. π Major Components Global Optimization Engine: The core simulation used to derive universal constants from 175+ galaxies. Cosmological Expansion Suite: Validation tools for SNIa, Cosmic Chronometers, and BBN. Early Universe Analysis: High-redshift modeling for JWST/JADES observations. π Conclusion & Summary The VSC model represents a fundamental shift in our understanding of the vacuum. By moving away from the "hidden mass" hypothesis and toward a "viscous resistance" framework, we have demonstrated that a single universal law can reconcile galactic rotation, solar system stability, and the expansion history of the universe. This library serves as the empirical foundation for a scale-invariant cosmology that requires no dark particles to explain the observed world.
