IFRG × LF²ES Trademark Governance Model v1.0 - Irreversibility‑First and Lethality‑Oriented Corporate Trademark Governance
Abstract
Abstract In corporate intellectual property management, trademark decision‑making is frequently distorted by agency incentives and defensive accountability logic. Companies tend to over‑register trademarks in the name of “risk prevention,” resulting in resource dispersion, governance overload, and strategic noise. This paper proposes a novel corporate trademark governance framework—IFRG × LF²ES—which integrates Irreversibility‑First Risk Governance (IFRG) with Lethality‑First, Fast‑Filter Elimination Search (LF²ES). The model redefines trademark governance as a form of irreversible‑risk control rather than coverage maximization. It introduces a structured, four‑stage elimination process that prioritizes lethal and irreversible risk paths, filters non‑essential trademarks early, and concentrates organizational resources on strategically decisive marks. The framework is designed for listed companies, highly regulated industries, and multinational operations, offering a practical decision protocol for internal trademark managers distinct from traditional trademark agency logic.
