Galactic Rotation Curves_ Emergent Flatness
Abstract
We present a revised model of galactic rotation curves based on the Vacuum Energy Quanta Field (VEQF) framework and its Gravity Emergence Model (GEM). Contrary to the standard ΛCDM paradigm, we propose that dark matter (DM) consists of inert, high-TCI solitons that coalesce early into a centralized toroidal structure, while baryonic matter distributes primarily in massive spiral arms and a thin disk. Using NGC 3198 as a test case, we demonstrate that this ontology yields an exceptional fit to observed rotation curves (RMSE = 4.46 km/s) with physically motivated parameters: 95% of DM concentrated in the central region, only 25% of baryonic matter in the bulge, and a remarkable 35% residing in spiral arms. This model resolves long-standing discrepancies in galactic dynamics and provides a natural explanation for the non-detection of dark matter in local disk environments.
