The "Hidden Highway" Hypothesis Statistical Anomalies within the 6EQ=5UJ Formula as Navigational Markers
Abstract
Since being captured on August 15, 1977, the 'Wow!' signal has persisted as an open question in modern astronomy. This paper proposes that the '6EQUJ5' sequence functions as an encoded parameter set defining the destination and trajectory of a hidden Interplanetary Transport Network (ITN). A novel dual-hypothesis framework is proposed, treating the sequence as a mathematical formulation analyzed against heliocentric distance data (AU) from the NASA JPL Horizons database via minimal percentage deviation. Under the first hypothesis—utilizing a multi-planetary alignment of Earth, Uranus, and Jupiter—the solution for the character 'Q' identifies the Centaur 32532 Thereus as the unique primary destination among 26,576 analyzed objects. Conversely, a second, Earth-centric hypothesis isolates strategic gateway nodes within a specific 'Top 8' region. Ultimately, this study proposes that the decoding of '6EQUJ5', maps the topological structure of an energetically optimal transport route, linking these gateway nodes to the final destination. Consequently, this study identifies 32532 Thereus and the gateway nodes 55701 Ukalegon and 84011 Jean-Claude as prime candidates for prioritized observation in future SETI endeavors, representing the first hypothesis-driven target selection derived from the proposal that the '6EQUJ5' sequence functions as an encoded parameter set.
