Abstract

RRS-Index is a structural declaration of the Research Release System (RRS),defining the publication topology, release boundaries, and interpretive constraintsgoverning RRS-001 through RRS-030. Rather than introducing a research claim, theoretical framework, or explanatory model, this release formalizes how RRS outputs are published, how numbering is assigned, and what forms of interpretation, synthesis, and expectation are explicitly disallowed. This document does not summarize individual releases. It does not provide an overview of results. It does not justify the content or direction of the system. Its sole function is structural containment. Boundary Definition Before Interpretation As the RRS progresses, semantic density increases faster than interpretive stability.Without explicit publication constraints, release numbering, ordering, and scope are easily misreadas theory progression, conceptual accumulation, or roadmap commitment. RRS-Index establishes a boundary layer that prevents such drift. Within the RRS-001 to RRS-030 range, releases are defined not by what they construct, but by what they restrict. This range is reserved exclusively for: • containment of interpretive risk• limits of semantic density• structural misuse and failure modes• conditions under which explanation becomes destructive No release within this range proposes: • operational systems• cognitive or personality models• alignment algorithms• application guidance Numbering as Positional Reservation In RRS, numbering does not indicate completion, sequence, or progress. Release numbers function as positional markers, not promises of content. Some releases may never be written.Others may appear non-sequentially.Absence is treated as a valid structural outcome. Completion is not a success condition. Relationship to Other RRS Releases RRS-Index operates as a meta-release. It does not extend RRS-001.It does not modify RRS-005.It constrains how all releases are read. If a release appears to authorize synthesis, application, or construction, the failure is interpretive, not theoretical. Function Within the System RRS-Index exists to mark where interpretation must stop. It does not explain what the system builds. It specifies what the system refuses to become. Publication within the RRS signals constraint, not permission.
