Emergent epithelial elasticity governed by interfacial surface mechanics and substrate interaction

This repository contains the C code and processed simulation data used to generate the results presented in Emergent epithelial elasticity governed by interfacial surface mechanics and substrate interaction. The code simulates the mechanical behavior of a two-dimensional epithelial tissue under varying apical and basal surface tensions, in-plane compression, substrate elasticity, and bending modulus of the basement membrane.
